Network

(Ps. 133:1-3; Eccl. 4:9-12)

We believe that the Kingdom of God can be even better advanced as we network and partner with other churches and ministries. God has not only called us to fellowship together with the rest of the Body of Christ, but also to work together on things pertaining to the Kingdom.

Living Word Ministries is therefore a member of
"Restoration Fellowship International."

RFI is a network of churches and ministries of like heart and spirit that desire genuine relationships with each other and with all other churches and ministries that want to join them. RFI provides apostolic oversight, fellowship, resource sharing and training for the strengthening of every church and ministry a part of it, that they may be more effective in reaching and discipling people for Jesus.

Apostolic networks like RFI are composed of local churches in a region that voluntarily decide to associate, fellowship and work with one another on specific projects, and to help strengthen one another spiritually. The goal is genuine relationships, mutually beneficial, and also spiritual covering. The key words in RFI are: “autonomous, voluntary, relationship, and oversight.”

In RFI we are all therefore associated with and submitted to, Bishop Don Horton as leader of the RFI network and he provides spiritual oversight, covering, protection, and accountability that we all need. We are also accountable to one another in the fear of the Lord. We can accomplish so much more together than we can independently.

For Example:
  • Every RFI church has it’s own pastor
  • Every RFI church owns its own or rent it’s own buildings and assets
  • Every RFI church’s pastor determines it’s own ministries
RFI also has a strong mission thrust.

What are the advantages of affiliating with RFI?

  1. It allows us to identify with other Christians and churches who are known for their commitment to the Holy Scriptures, church planting and missions. The Holy Scriptures are our only authority.

  2. It allows our church to participate in a larger missionary organization around the world. Through RFI we help support many missionaries, churches, orphanages, feeding centers and all sorts of other outreach projects around the world.

  3. It allows us to not only be served but to also serve others in the body of Christ, just as Jesus said: “It is more blessed to give than receive”

  4. It provides safeguards, oversight, and guidelines in times of transition or crisis.
